August Featured Pattern

Posted on August 1, 2023 by prairiemoonquilts in My Patterns

This month I’m featuring a quilt with colors that match the weather we’re having! I love this sunny palette, and I keep going back to it again and again — this color combo is just so cheery!

Anyway, this month’s featured pattern is AmpersAnd:

It’s available in print and PDF formats in my Etsy shop for only $5 during the month of August.

There is also an alternate free pattern available that you can appliqué on top of the quilt instead of the ampersand and make it a Halloween quilt. This spider pattern is available here: Spiderapplique

You can totally leave off the appliqué altogether, and whip up a quick throw quilt that features some great focal prints. It’s always fun to feature fabrics in a quilt like this that you would hate to cut up small — this way you get to enjoy them in larger chunks! (I hear Tula Pink’s Nightshade is making a comeback — wouldn’t that make a great one?) OK, I might have to do that . . .

Cool! I have some Halloween fat quarters and stash fabric this would be perfect for – I have purchased the PDF pattern and can’t wait to get started.

Both patterns are really pretty. I love those fabrics too.
