The Three Witches

They’re here! — The Three Witches:

ThreeWitchesfull

This is the larger version of the smaller quilt I showed back in July HERE.

Based on the three witches from Shakespeare’s play, “Macbeth”, this larger version features lots more embroidery with more coloring. It features each witch individually, and also the group together. Don’t they look conniving?

Witches

There are more words, quoted from Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”, and one other embroidered block that features a scary tree, full moon, bat, and cat.

Words

Set together with simple strips and a pieced block, this quilt has 3 borders to pull it all together for a 58″ x 58″ quilt. Great for hanging on the wall, or using in your Halloween decorating.

This quilt uses fabrics from the “Witch Hazel” line by October Afternoon for Riley Blake, just as the small quilt and pillow did.

The 36-page 8 1/2″ x 11″-format pattern contains full-sized stitchery patterns, lots of colored photos, and complete step-by-step instructions. It is available now in my Etsy shop in both a printed and a downloadable PDF version. Or check with your local quilt shop to see if they carry it.

That is a really cool pattern!!! I started the other one, but I haven’t even finished the embroidery on it yet. Love that fabric line and what you did with it!

Well worth waiting for. It’s absolutely amazing!

Shoot. We never got a chance to read MacBeth together. Or was that the one we read besides As You Like It? I never forget anything except the details!!!! And the quilt is darn scarey!! As we like it!
