Studio Organizing, Week 52

Posted on December 23, 2015 by prairiemoonquilts in Studio Organizing Challenge

Well, this is it, folks!

The last task of 2015.

I hope you got all your last-minute sewing finished up. If not, take heart, there’s still one more day!

I’m finishing up today, and may have a little to do tomorrow morning, but then I truly hope to take a few days off. A couple days with no deadlines will feel soooo good!

Which leads into this final task for our year. This week I want you to . . .

Do something for yourself

Take it easy . . . relax . . . eat a cookie . . . take a nap . . . read . . . have some hot chocolate — you deserve it!

I’ll be back Monday to announce The Final Countdown — the 7th annual, can you believe it? — and we’ll finish out the year with those three tasks — and prizes!

Thanks so much for joining me for this year of organizing.

My Cowboy and I wish you all a very . . .

merrychristmas

I am so close to being finished – binding for two quilts is all that remains. I too plan to take a couple of days and read a book that I have been wanting to read for some time now. Thanks for all you do to keep sewing fun and interesting. Merry Christmas to you!

Gifts that need to be done for Christmas are done and wrapped. Yes, time for myself more like special time for Christmas and my wonderful hubby. Merry Christmas to all.

I’m into shopping for food and cooking for friends and family. Probably not much will happen in the studio. But I do have one quiet day on Saturday. We’ll see.

I still need to wrap gifts. That’s the first time I remember being this late in wrapping.

Let’s see. December 23rd, I was still trying to finish up the last quilt that was going out the door finished. It was taken out of the dryer, hung for a photograph, and wrapped only delaying us by 15 minutes Christmas Day. On the other hand, I spent time with my husband gathering stuff for him to make me a pressing table. So all was good. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
