I took a couple days off for Thanksgiving, and I hope you did, too — that way no one minds that this week’s task is a couple days late. We were busy with other things, right?
How did you do with putting away fabric?
I must confess right now that I completely failed on this one. I started going through that box I showed you last week, and ended up pulling about 1/3 of the fabric out and immediately started cutting it up for a new project! Seriously, there must be something wrong with me!
So now my cutting table is an even bigger mess, I have another new project, and the fabric still isn’t put away. Can I call that a good week?
And here it is time for the next task. We only have a few more between now and the end of the year, so I’m repeating one yet again because I still need to do it:
I’m still working my way through that one cabinet in my sewing room. It has 6 drawers, and so far I’ve cleaned out 5 of them. There’s one more to go, and if I can do it this week, I’ll have cleaned out the entire cabinet this year.
Who takes an entire year to clean out one cabinet? Ugh!
This last drawer is also large, and full of fabric. I’m not sure why these particular pieces of fabric are in here. I must have had some reason at the time, although I have no idea now what that reason was. So I’m diving in.
Do you still have any drawers that need cleaning out? If not, do you still have shelves that need attention? (I do, but those are for another week.)
Or do you have some other hiding place that needs attention? That’s our task for this week. Only a few more weeks to get things done before we head into a new year. I’m hoping to start 2016 a bit more organized than I did 2015. How about you?
