Last week’s task was an eye-opener for me. As I gathered up handwork projects, I realized I have hand-sewing supplies scattered all over my house! Pincushions, sewing boxes, needlecases, scissors, thimbles, thread, thread, thread!
I did NOT get them all under control this week. I did organize the one hand-sewing project that is most urgently needing my attention, and that’s as far as I got. Everything I need for said project is in my favorite little sewing box:
I resolve to give this task some more attention sometime in the near future, but for now, it’s once again time to move on.
This week’s task is:
Is there a certain project that’s bothering you?
One that’s in disarray and needs to be reorganized?
One that’s missing something and needs to have some attention paid to it so it can move forward?
One that’s so close to finished that if you just gave it a little bit of time you could call it done?
One that’s not on any of your active lists, so it’s languishing somewhere?
While I have way too many projects to choose from, I’ll be off teaching on a New England Fall Foliage cruise all next week, and I’m thinking about taking along a section of my daughter’s wedding quilt to continue working on. It needs some attention. And about a million more miles of hand embroidery. She got married at the end of August, so I need to get it finished! What are my chances of actually getting to spend any time working on it if I’m on a cruise? We shall see.
How about you? Can you find a UFO to show a little TLC this week? I’d love to hear about it. Because I’m fairly certain it will remind me of many others I need to work on of my own!
