Studio Organizing, Week 18

Well, that one was easy, but I needed an easy one last week.

Doesn’t this look so much better?

While I was taking that picture, I got distracted by a Cowboy in my driveway. And now all the cows are rearranged! Those two like to play . . .

Cowboy

I need another easy organizing task this week, because I’ll mostly be gone to Quilt Camp having fun. (When I get back from Camp, I’ll show you the projects I designed specifically for my Camp students, and make the patterns available to everyone, so stay tuned!)

So here’s what we’ll do this week:

Choose 10 things to deal with

This could be:

10 things to put away
10 things to get rid of
10 things to finish up
10 things to work on
10 things to clean

Or any combination of the above. You get the idea . . .

Now we all know that I have way more than 10 things that need to be dealt with, but since I’ll be gone some, I’m holding back. (I could easily add a couple zeros to that number, and still not be completely done!)

So . . .

Can you find 10 things that need to have something done with them?

Ten things that are out of place, annoying you, in the way, or aggravating?

Ten things that, if you just deal with them now, will make you feel so much better about your sewing space?

I’m anxious to hear what your “10 Things” are!

You are right. This will be easy. No problem finding ten items that need attention. I also agree you could easily add zeroes. Guess you can do that another week. Hey, and I already finished two small projects today

  2. Hope says:

Looking forward to seeing you at quilt camp!

  3. Sue Hook says:

I cleaned and dusted and vacuumed all around my sewing machine – it looks great as does yours.

    Hmmm 10 things

    3 quiet book pages completed
1 box of patterns put away
1 stack of papers cleaned up
2 circle skirts completed for granddaughters
    3 Mother’s Day gifts completed

  4. Meloney says:

OK, so I have no idea which 10 things I am going to deal with, but I’ll let you know when I do.

  5. Get 2 large book cases out of my quilting room, move and move 3 smaller bookcases into my quilting room, and stock the bookcases with organized quilting books! Way more then 10 books, but that’s all right!

  6. Kathy says:

Well my 10 things will not be in the house. I have to get the Veggie garden done and in. Fencing up to protect from deer and rabbits etc. Posts to dig. Boxes to make. Veggies to plant. ETC. Well you get the picture. And at 73 I’m a little slower. So After that is in we have to go open the summer cottage up and clean that. And also I plant a small garden there for tomatoes, radishes and cukes and lettuce for salads. So I think my month of May is quite taken up. And I’m also in hopes I can get my daughter’s queen summer quilt done by end of May. PHEW!

  7. Karen says:

well, I gave this one some thought, and think I’ll choose 10 things to work on, which are things to be mended. For some reason, I put off these small tasks of sewing on a button or mending a teddybear, etc. so this will be a good chance to get them done.
And wow, how I’d love to have a view out my window of a cowboy! You live my dream!

  8. Cindy says:

Hymmmmm let me just say I put ten things away and I can’t see what I did. They were small. Maybe I should try ten big things. :/

  9. Even though I didn’t commit to your organizing challenge at the start of year, I seem to be playing along in many (most) of them. I chose ten (actually more) pattern books and other items to donate to the local quilt museum shop. They sell used items to help fund the museum.
