Snow and Roses

It’s the 2014 Prairie Moon Ranch Cowboy Christmas Stocking! Woohoo!

This year’s boot is called “Snow and Roses”:

I wanted to make a white stocking, but then decided to add the red to liven it up, and it ended up more red than white! Snow and Roses features some very easy applique, and as usual, some hand embroidery. But not too much of either one, making this stocking fairly quick and easy to put together.

It measures 15 1/4″ tall, and 10 3/4″ wide from heel to toe. It’s 4 1/2″ wide at the narrowest part of the boot, and 6″ wide at the top. The lining extends straight down the length of the boot, but not clear into the heel portion and not into the toe portion of the boot.

The back is plain:

The pattern is available in both a printed and a PDF version in my Etsy shop.

For a limited time, I have some kits available.  Each kit contains all the ingredients to make the stocking exactly as shown. It even comes packaged up all cute in a red bandana!

And as is customary once a year, I’m running a bundle deal on the Christmas stocking patterns. There are now 7 different designs to choose from! From now until November 26th, you can buy 3 stocking patterns and receive a 4th one for free (print version only). Just visit my Etsy shop to take advantage of this deal.

Can you believe it’s less than 6 weeks till Christmas? Where has this year gone to?
