Red fabric, that is!
This month, I’m concentrating on my red fabric bin, in the interest of having all the red fabrics in one place, and having the lid actually fit on the bin.
I worked on blue during January, and here’s what happened:
I’m happy to report that all the blue fabrics are together in two bins, and that the lids fit on both of them. Next, I’d like to get that down to just ONE bin, but that’ll take some more time. And if I need any blue yardage — I’d have to go buy it! I used all the bigger pieces to make backings and pillowcases, so I’m down to the smaller pieces.
This month, it’s RED’s turn. I only have one bin for red, but probably have enough red fabric to fill two bins. Here’s what I’ve currently gathered up that won’t fit:
Can I do this without starting another project or three?
Time will tell . . .
My current (one of my current) project uses red, too. Digging deep to get what I need without buying. We’ll see.
It seems that every time I look through my fabric I find ideas for new charity quilts. I’ve tried to keep myself from starting too much more but I failed after finding several 1.5″ pieces. I’m going to do your Strippers Delight II as my new project!
Shelly there’s some beautiful pieces of fabric in those piles! have fun with it.
You inspire me and i am sure others with what you get done. Enjoying how you handled your blues now here come the reds! We can’t wait to see your progress!
I love that idea of having a color of the month to tackle! You did great with those blues, can’t wait to see how the reds go. How do you ever keep all those projects moving along?
