Peggy’s Foxley Village

Since I can’t quilt right now, I’ll take a bit of time to show you a darling quilt I worked on a while back. I quilted this quilt for my customer, Peggy, and it is beyond adorable!

The pattern is called Foxley Village, and it’s by The Birdhouse Patchwork Designs (Australia). Here’s what the full quilt looks like (from the pattern cover):

The only photos I have are some in-progress shots I took while working on it. I have no good place to take full-out photos of customer quilts. But here are some close-ups.

Peggy asked for custom quilting, not too heavy.

Isn’t this sheep in a wagon adorable?

And all the cute foxes everywhere!

So much to look at.

Peggy did this as a kitted BOM, and her handwork is impeccable. It is so nicely stitched.

She wanted this higher-loft batting inside, and it was a fabulous choice! It gave the look and texture of wool, without the expense and extra-care instructions of wool. I am excited to use a high-loft batting in another quilt in the future.

Thanks to Peggy for trusting me to quilt up her darling creation!
