I would have posted this yesterday, but I was off galavanting — my guild was having their 29th annual quilt show (more on that later).
We are almost half done with this year — I can hardly believe it.
And it seems the further into the year we get, the slower I go. I only managed 3 blocks this month.
All three of these are for guild Community Service group projects:
I made several quilts in May, but since none of them are for me, I can’t count those blocks. If I could, I’d be way ahead! Maybe in June I’ll get to sew on some things of my own. We’ll see . . .
How did YOU do in May?
It’s time to report in! Leave a comment, a link to a post of your own, or contact me to let me know how many blocks you made in May.
I’ve updated the Project page with the new goal for June. We’re shooting for a total of 170 blocks by June 30. Go! Gitchyer stitchin’ on . . .
I had another zero month. This is not an auspicious year for me. Hope everyone else did much better.
Is it too late to join? I keep thinking about it….never a good sign!! 🙂
I got 44 done this month…doesn’t seem like I sewed much, but hey, when I count ’em up, it’s better than I thought.
It was a better month for me. 31 blocks. That puts me at 107 for the year. I hope to be truly caught up by the end of June. I will need to average 2 blocks a day, but with school out there is a chance.

Thanks, Shelly, for your encouragement.
It has been a busy busy busy busy month I have done four blocks that I can think of
My first 0 month due to trying to get 4 tops quilted. But I’m ahead I think.
I have made 30 this last month. I pieced a baby blanket for my nephew who is due July 1. Now to quilt and bind it before the end of this month!
I did 41 blocks this month, a lot of them that last week when I realized what a slacker I had been.
36 for me for May.
I only made 17 for May – June may not be much better.
I did 48 blocks this month. Just mainly playing with my new machine.
May was not a good month for me I only got 12 blocks done.
May was a good month for me, 92 blocks sewn. Nothing like cold and wet to keep me inside and sewing.
41blocks this month.
I completed 28 blocks in May.

I was able to complete 32 blocks, so at least I didn’t fall behind. That gives me a total of 209 blocks for the year. Not too bad!

I have 27 completed blocks for May.
Spring yard work is done…time to suck up the a/c and get back on track w/ blocking…41 for the month of May for me 🙂
I’m trying to stay up with Shelly and my sister Linda: I did 0 also.

Keep on quilting!

Food for Thought
I’m sure I’m not the big winner, but I did manage to get the center of my Celtic Solstice quilt together and a long term project made into a top. That project required 14 new blocks because some of the colors were just not working with the pattern. Those will go onto the back. I worked on some guild blocks and group projects, too. Anyway, my total was 36!
277 total, 71 new this month!

I know I’m late again! I was out of town. Then my life would not pull together when I got home. I count was for my 350. I put together 1 complete quilt and 2 partial quilts. You can read all about it here http://stitchedwithfriends.blogspot.com/2014/06/mays-block-count.html
I’m late posting, but I managed to finish 111 blocks in May. I only used scraps and older fabrics from my stash, but I still haven’t made a dent in the piles of fabric in my sewing room.
I finished 2 farmer’s wife and 6 alphabet blocks.
