March Studio Organizing, Task One

I actually work on it regularly now, like nearly every evening, rather than dreading having to pilfer through the messy carton looking for what I need! How did you do with your challenge?
And here it is already time for another challenge!
What shall we do this time?
I’ve been working on organizing a lot of hard stuff all this year, plugging away at the most troublesome areas of my studio, and it’s paying off, but I’ve also started quite a few new projects. In my defense, I’ve also finished at least as many as I’ve started, but still, that’s not helping my number go down!
As a result of this, my cutting table is getting a bit out of control, so I think in the next couple weeks, I need to address the mess.
So here’s the challenge:
Clear off your main work surface
Altho I was doing really good at clearing it off every weekend, I have let that slip. Time to get back to that good habit before I end up back where I used to be.
Here is its current state:
I hope to finish lots of these projects in the next couple weeks, organize some of the others and store them elsewhere, and reclaim some usable space on top of this table!
How’s your main work surface?
For once my main work surface is clean except for 1 quilt needing the binding sewn on. I’ve not been as diligent about keeping it cleaned off as I should.
my main is clean as well…what i need to work on is keeping my basket at work cleaned out…..i can keep my home space cleaned but my job basket is another story…..so I am going to try and do the same at work
Well the cutting area gets bad or i move stuff to floor to make space. Guess i need to put away & organize!
I try to keep my sewing box organized on a regular basis, so it is mostly under control. I did clear off the cutting table a while ago so it too is tidy right now.
My table usually looks like yours, but I cleaned it up recently since it shows in my computer camera. Then I filled it up with food as I am cleaning out my pantry. I do hope to get the food off tonight so I can get back to filling it with fabric! I am trying to develop the habit of cleaning it off regularly, but I do like to be ready to sew with little minutes of time.
I got it cleaned off over the weekend- and it’s started filling back up!
