Mad Dash Sew-Along, Week 17
Posted on July 25, 2022 by prairiemoonquilts in Mad DashI’m glad I had some blocks cut out and ready to sew before surgery, or I would not be making any progress at all. At least I can feed pieces through the machine, and I’ve actually completed two more blocks since surgery.
I can’t rotary cut at all, not even with the ergonomic cutter this time. Which means I can’t even trim my triangle squares, so I hope this doesn’t last for long — I have lots to do!
Since this is just a check-in week . . . how are you doing?
Shirley got her top finished, and it is soooo pretty!
I love all the contrast that makes her churn dashes show up so well! And the color combo is so luscious!

Wow! Shirley’s top is fabulous! Love the contrasts in color and all the bright, happy colors. Very cheerful and fun. I’m so glad you had some pieces already cut beforehand so that you can sew. How frustrating that must be, to have all those fabrics you want to cut and arms that need to heal first! Happy Healing!
