In Case You’re Bored

And don’t have a single thing to do . . .

I’m sharing a few links today to some really fun stuff I’ve found online lately.

I’m actually quite frightened that some of this is going to make me start something new — in fact, I already bought the pattern for one of these . . . I think you’re gonna want to as well. Enjoy!

Sherri, from This and That Patterns, has a sew-along going on on her blog right now for her Gingham  Stars quilt. You do have to have her book to join in, but I’m thinking it might be worth it. The quilt is so cute! Click HERE to get started.

I’ve been a little smitten with strings lately, and have been sewing some of my own as you can see HERE, but I found this fabulous large string quilt tutorial by Kelly at My Quilt Infatuation. This could use up quite a few strings, I’m thinking!

And here’s the one I bought the pattern for immediately upon seeing it. I don’t know why I’m so taken with Pineapple quilt blocks lately, but THIS ONE by Lisa at A Spoonful of Sugar is just so adorable. And pillow? No. I’m thinking I’ll be making an entire big quilt from these little blocks. It’ll be quite the undertaking, but it’ll sure use up a lot of scraps, right?

And . . . my friend, Victoria, has these new Snack Set templates. I’m dying to get my hands on a set of them, and give them a whirl — also good for digging into my scraps, I’m thinking.

Now go forth and explore the links — I think they’ll keep you busy for awhile. Let me know which one is your favorite!

Victoria has appropriately named her new template line–Snack Sets–because you can’t have just one!!

    OMGosh they are darling!!

  2. LOL – you trouble maker. Cute, but I”m not buying. Victoria’s blogs are too small for me – says the quilter who keeps exploding blocks -hehe. And while I really like the one you bought, I have so few neutrals right now, couldn’t make one pineapple. I’m been considering buying Amanda’s book, so that’s probably my favorite. Thanks for sharing, Shelly.
