Gypsy Cowgirl

The 2018 Prairie Moon Ranch Cowboy Christmas Stocking is here!!! Woohoo!

This year’s cowboy boot stocking is the 11th annual (already?!), and it’s called “Gypsy Cowgirl”. I especially love it because it’s red! I was ready for another red stocking!

This stocking may also be the easiest one yet, because I’ve taken out all the handwork — this one is all fusible machine appliqué!

I wanted to do the appliqué pieces in a raw-edge style for a rustic, worn look. If you don’t want to do the appliqué at all, and want even more red showing, you could simply do the lines in embroidery, and leave the appliqué off — even easier!

Make yours in your favorite colors.

The pattern, along with all 10 of the previous designs, is available in my Etsy shop in both print and PDF versions.

whoopsie, I was thinking of you. I was cleaning my sewing room and a piece of paper fell out with my block count from Nov 1-16 fell out. Good thing because. so much has swept over my quilting life in a month that I forget what I did. I am some one who works on multiple projects. Not good for getting closure BUT I am focusing on the two UFO’s I picked in August for one of my quilt group challenge. We get 5.00 for each one completed. Amazing what one might do for 5.00. I wonder if I am out of space yet on the comments

I have been working on sewing some plaid shirts into 9 patches. They are from my son in law making a quilt for new grandson due in February.

Great boot! My favourite colour too.
Have to say thank you for my prize I won and received today. A pattern to ponder and 25 lovely little fabric charms to fondle.
I didn’t sew much if anything in October as I had a one year old here for 3 weeks BUT I am making up for it thos month. A girlfriend and I were able to get to her brothers “cabin”in the BC mountains (which by the way was nicer than my house) and sewed our hearts
    out. Good for the soul
