Even though I’m at Quilt Market this weekend, I’m still blathering on about Quilt Camp. I’m here today to tell you about the project I taught.
I taught 3 days of needle-turn hand applique, and this is the project we worked on:
I designed this project especially for this year’s Quilt Camp, and now that camp is over, I’m making the pattern available to all.
I’ve named it “Field of Flowers”, and it’s a table runner featuring simple applique in the center, surrounded by even simpler patchwork on both sides.
It’s made using a charm pack and just a little bit of yardage, and the finished piece measures 18″ x 40″. I used the Field Notes collection by Blackbird Designs for Moda to create my sample.
The pattern is available in my Etsy Shop in both printed and PDF versions. Go get it and whip yourself up a cute little table runner using your favorite charm pack!
That is awesome Shelly. I love your applique. Wish I could applique as well as you do. Have fun at Market.
It’s a beautiful pattern and you are a terrific teacher. I enjoyed the class so much!
Finished the project and posted pictures on Arrow Rock FB site. Thanks for a great class!
