Creativity Challenge #26

I’m back with another Creativity Challenge today.

I’m a couple days late, but better late than never, huh?

First I wanna tell you about this wonderful new thing I found and jumped in on! (And for the record, this post is not paid or sponsored at all — I’m just telling you about this because I’m so very excited about it!)

It’s called Artsnacks.

It’s a little box of random art supplies delivered to your mailbox every month. I just got the August box, and I’m super excited, even tho I don’t have time to play with all of it just yet:

I figured it would be a good way to get some art supplies I might not ever think to try out on my own. In turn, those supplies might also inspire me to try techniques or create things I wouldn’t try otherwise. I’m really excited about this! (Did I say that already? — but really, I’m excited!)

If you’re looking for inspiration, too, Artsnacks might be something you’re interested in — go check them out!

Anyway, how did you do with making art on top of your watercolor background? I haven’t added any  more to mine just yet, but I still have plans to.

But on to the next challenge:

Make some tiny art on a sectioned page

I’ve made this sectioned grid of sorts, on 11″ x 14″ sketch paper, using just a black sharpie, and my intention is to fill up each square with a tiny drawing of some sort. Since they’re small boxes, each one will not take very long, and that means I might actually get some of them done pretty quickly!

You can use whatever tools you want to for your art. Since this is not on watercolor paper, I probably won’t use paint, but I will use markers, colored pencils, ink, pencil, etc. for mine.

It’s yet another way I’m trying to get myself into the habit of making some type of art every day, no matter how small. I hope you’ll give it a try, too!
