Today marks the first Creativity Challenge for the second half of 2016.
So instead of what I intended to do, I’m saving that assignment for next week, and we’re starting out this second half of the year with the following challenge:
There are sooo sooo so many choices. Pick what feels best for you. You don’t have to buy the books. Check some out from your local library, read online, or find free downloads.
Here are some that I recommend:
The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron
Fearless Creating by Eric Maisel
Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert
The Little Spark — 30 Ways to Ignite Your Creativity by Carrie Bloomston
Creative Strength Training by Jane Dunnewold
I’m starting out with the last two titles myself.
The purpose of this challenge is to see if any of the reading you do inspires you in different ways, opens your eyes and mind to things you haven’t thought of before, and loosens you up for being even more creative than you already are.
Have fun with this one!
Hi Shelly,
I don’t know if you would consider my books creative or not. But I’ve posted them at my place. Have a great day!
