Button, Button, Who’s Got the Button?

It’s Button Day!

A day to celebrate buttons!

As quilters and crafters, don’t we all LOVE buttons?

Buttons are fun! There’s so much you can do with them, and let’s face it, they’re really fun to play with and look at and collect!

My Great-Aunt Ruby used to play the Button Game with us — Button, Button, Who’s Got the Button? — Aunt Ruby sure loved to have fun!

To help celebrate Button Day, I’m hosting a little game here.

Leave a comment with your guess as to how many buttons are in this little Ball jar. As a hint, this little jar is probably 6 ounces, maybe 8 ounces.

The person closest to the correct number of buttons will win the jar of buttons, and maybe an extra goodie or two along with it!

If there is more than one person with the closest (or exact) guess, then a winner will be drawn from all those correct ones at random. I’m also including guesses left as comments on my Instagram post, and you can make a guess in both places, if you like, for an extra chance at winning! My IG account is @prairiemoonquilts, if you’d like to follow me there.

I’ll announce the winner on Monday, November 20th.

What’s your best guess?

Happy Button Day!

UPDATE: The winner of the jar of buttons is Clare!! There are actually 198 buttons in that little bitty jar! Hard to believe, huh? Clare guessed 207, only 9 off the mark.
