9th Annual Final Countdown Winners!

Posted on January 9, 2018 by prairiemoonquilts in The Final Countdown

As always, I loved hearing about how you all were tackling, or already had under control, the organizing tasks from this year’s Final Countdown!

I only have a small handful of magazines left to sort through, but still need to go about finding a permanent storage solution for the ones I’m keeping.

And I kinda fizzled out on getting my cutting table cleared completely off because I’ve spent the entire year in bed so far. It really doesn’t look much better, even from a different angle!

I’ll keep working on it, in my spare time.

I’m excited about working on my list for the coming year.

I already have several pillowcases cut out and ready to stitch up, and plans to go through my stash to pull fabric for more, because it helps use up fabric and will help me finally get the lids to fit on all those bins!

I worked on my Yo-Yos a little bit:

And I’ve landed on an embroidery project to do that I’ll tell you about once I get started on it. I had to special order the fabric to get a piece large enough, and it’s not here yet.

Once again, I’ll periodically offer up an organizing challenge during the year, just whenever I run across something I need to do that I think you all might want to join in on. You can see all those in one place HERE.

And now it’s time to announce the winners from this year’s Final Countdown. I try to give prizes for this challenge that will help you with your organization efforts, and not add more clutter to your life — things you can use to keep getting more organized, since this challenge is all about that!

As usual, I’m drawing one winner from the commenters on each task, so here we go . . .

Task One: Susan N.
Task Two: Cathy P.
Task Three:  Barb B.

Congratulations! And thanks to everyone who played along. We’ll do it again at the end of this year!

I’m pretty sure Cathy and Barb did more organizing than I did. Congratulations to all the challenge participants for doing a little to start this next year. I know my brain is thinking about the stuff that needs to be worked on and over!!

Congratulations to the winners. So very sorry you are so sick, as everyone is advising … Take it slow that is one sickness that totally zaps you, DONT overdo it?
I am still working on my cutting table there has been progress! I was looking for a panel I misplaced every where, it was hiding on my cutting table, so excited! Don’t know how to post a photo here.
