You all did great! I love all your comments with so many good suggestions, ideas, and ways you’re tackling each task. So many new ideas now, and not enough time!
I got my list made. The numbers are exactly the same as last year, which means I either started the same number of quilts I finished, or found a few UFOs that were hiding and not originally on my list as the year went on, even tho I finished 17 quilts. I honestly don’t think I started 17 new ones, but I am pretty sure I found a few hiding as I went through the bins. I’m gonna keep at that, hoping I don’t find any more surprises. My ultimate goal is fewer bins (and way fewer UFOs).
I have been super faithful about working on the scrap pile every single day. Progress is being made, however slowly. I’ll keep you posted on when that giant box gets empty — any guesses as to which month it will be? July? September? Maybe May? We’ll see.
The final task is proving difficult for me. Partly because I am hesitant to ask My Cowboy for help with it. And I’ve been too busy and tired to tackle it by myself. But it’s definitely on the list to get done sooner rather than later. Remember, I’m doing the hard stuff this year! (I have to keep telling myself that daily.)
Here are the winners from each task . . .
Task One: Phillis H.
Task Two: Christi B.
Task Three: Tonya B.
Thank you all for playing along and providing inspiration to me as well as to all your fellow blog readers. It’s very motivating to keep me going. Let’s do it again at the end of this year!
And stay tuned for our monthly Studio Organizing Challenges. I’ll still be going through those again as the year goes on and I decide what things I need to tackle in my space. I love dragging you all along with me, and I appreciate that you come along for the ride!
Thank you for our nudge again! It helps me.
Yes, I agree–great ideas. It’s nice to work on the challenges you provide. Good luck with that closet!
My sewing space already feels more ready for the new year, thanks to you. Keep those challenges coming.
Happy New Year!
Yes I agree with others. Thanks for the nudge! I’ve been working on a scrap quilt that I had only played with a little. Designing as I go.
