Thought I’d pop on and show you this darling Bowties quilt today. This vintage quilt top belongs to my friend, Richelle, and she asked me if I could turn it into a finished quilt for her. And that’s what I do — so of course, I said I would!
It turned out even more darling than I originally thought it would.

The fabrics in this top are so fun to look at!

I quilted it with a pantograph called Loophole. It worked perfectly on this top.
And I found this adorable print for the backing. Isn’t this a cute print?

I used a blue solid for the binding. The quilt is 76″ x 91″, and I used a cotton batting inside. I think it turned out so cute, and Richelle loves having it back as a finished, usable quilt now!
This looks just like Mom’s! ❤️
Adorable quilt!!! Love the backing fabric.
Job well done.
I love seeing vintage tops being finished. Great job!
So pretty!!! I love Bowtie quilts but doubt I ever make one.
So pretty and fun🧵🪡
That was a good choice for the quilting design. I can never think of anything for vintage quilts except Baptist Fan or grids.
Love the backing fabric!
What a fun quilt!!! It’s nice to see the variety of fabrics in this quilt. 😍
