A Blockbuster Year — pun intended!
We did fantastic!
I’m so happy and thrilled to report that we beat every single one of last year’s records! That was one of my goals for the project, and all of you helped me reach it! I’m so proud of us!
Here’s our 2015 statistics:
Thank you ALL so much for participating — it gets to be more fun every year! Think we can beat all these records next year? I’m so anxious to find out!
First, though, I have to give away the rest of the prizes . . .
Our December monthly prize winner is Arlena H. Arlena made 785 blocks this year. Whew!
For the Project as a whole, there’s a Grand Prize package, and three other prize packages. The Grand Prize package is valued at around $100, and the other three are valued at just around $60 each. I’ve been putting these together little by little all year: gift certificates to online fabric stores, books, patterns, fabric, notions, etc. — so if you’re one of the winners, I hope that makes it worth the time it took to make all those blocks and report them in!
The Grand Prize winner is drawn from among all the participants who made it past the 350 blocks goal. The other prize winners are drawn at random from among all the active participants, regardless of how many blocks you made, and it also doesn’t matter if you’ve already won a monthly prize — your name gets thrown back in for the grand prizes.
So here we go . . . The Grand Prize winner is:
Pam made a total of 646 blocks, and if you read her blog, you will have seen that she knocked out quite a few UFOs this past year, and has set some pretty sweet goals for 2016!
The other three prize winners, in no particular order, are:
Angie in SoCal (365 blocks)
Maxine (685 blocks)
Charlotte (459 blocks)
Have I said how proud I am of all of us? We really did great!
I’m so excited to do this again — watch for the post later this week, and we’ll get the 2016 Blocks Project going. I hope you’ll join in again, or if you haven’t yet, consider joining us this year — it’s always so much fun!
