The Pink Boot Event

Posted on October 1, 2012 by prairiemoonquilts in What's New

As you’re probably aware, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In honor of that, I’m hosting The Pink Boot Event all this month through my Etsy Shop.

All through the month, I’ll be listing pink cowgirl boot Christmas stockings in my shop.

All different kinds of them.

As fast as I can make them and get them listed.

I hope they all sell, because . . .

At the end of the month, I’ll donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every pink boot stocking to The National Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s my hope to raise enough to pay for at least one mammogram (hopefully more than one).

I’m also including all my Prairie Moon Ranch Cowboy Christmas Stocking patterns in this event. If you prefer to make your own pink stocking, then just pick up a pattern in the style you like. I’ll donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each pattern as well.

I’ve created a special category to make it easy to find all the pink boots and qualifying patterns in one place. Click here: Pink Boot Event.

We normally make a quarterly charitable donation from the sale of certain items in my shop anyway. The Pink Boot Event is in addition to that.

So, if you or someone you know needs a pink cowgirl boot Christmas stocking this year, hop on over and pick one up. You’ll be helping out a great cause and getting a cute Christmas stocking at the same time!

The first two stockings will be listed tomorrow, with more being listed randomly throughout the month. So . . .

If you don’t see one you like today, check back tomorrow or the next day. They’ll all be different, and you may eventually find the one that’s right for you . . .

Bless you for this! As a “woman of THAT age” without insurance, I get a mammogram every 5 years or so that is donated by the Susan B. Komen Foundation. Without that, I don’t get one. So, from those of us who benefit from this, thank you so much!

  2. Got mine! It is so cool you are doing this, Shelly! I love it. I wish my heart was as big as yours. I’m sending it to my cousin, who is fighting breast cancer.
