Without very many pictures.
I’ve been too lazy to pick up the camera.
It feels like I’ve been working in slow motion lately.
I think I might be reaching the point of overwhelm, even though all the stitching I had to get done for Market is finished. That just means I’m behind on customer quilts to be longarm quilted.
In truth, I’m still having a hard time dealing with the loss of Big Dan and Dandee.
And yesterday, we sold the last of our calf crop from this year, which also makes me a little sad. I get way too attached for someone in the cattle business! Why can’t they all just be my pets?
But work goes on, and I have been working.
I’m a little slow posting the Christmas stockings for the Pink Boot Event, but there’s a bigger selection now, and I have more to post in the next few days, too, so if you haven’t seen one you like yet, keep checking back, because they’re all different, and I will keep posting more. Here’s the three newest ones I posted most recently:
I also finished this Christmas Tree Skirt from some French General fabrics. I made it using my Liberty Stars pattern, which is available in my Etsy Shop. I’m also listing the Christmas Tree Skirt in my Etsy shop, if I can bring myself to do it. Have I ever mentioned how much I love French General?
And I finished the scarf I was knitting for my daughter, and she was actually here to visit for a few days, and I got to give it to her in person! And still forgot to take any pictures — of her or the scarf.
And today is the day to announce the winners of the Forever Fencin’ patterns. They are:
Congratulations! I’ll get those right out to you.
I’ll be back soon with some more news, and hopefully I’ll be in a bit cheerier mood!
