The final round. And a give-away . . .
Evidently, no one wants my used magazines any worse than I do! So . . .
I’m making one last effort to find them a good home.
I’ve grouped all the magazines into bundles of 3, and listed them in my Etsy Shop. For $3, basically just enough to cover the cost of me shipping them to you, you can buy the bundle of your choice. Or buy more than one bundle.
Here’s the kicker . . .
Time is of the essence!
You only have until Tuesday morning to shop!
By Tuesday afternoon, I’ll be making a trip through a town that has a recycle wagon, and although it’s a shame to throw away these perfectly good magazines, the ones that aren’t spoken for by Tuesday morning are going into the recycle bin. I don’t have space for them any more, so I’m hoping there’s some nice quilter out there who will see fit to give at least some of them a good home.
So hop on over to my Etsy shop and browse the selection of magazines. If you’re looking for a particular past issue of something, it just might be there. And you’ll be saving these poor magazines from certain death in a shredder.
Now for the give-away portion of today’s program . . .
I have this little antique box . . .
And while the box itself is nothing special (it has a water stain, and it’s not in perfect condition) . . . inside the box . . .
. . . is a handful of old quilt patterns and templates, some of them from the Kansas City Star, and at least one of them is dated 1929. So if you collect that kind of stuff, and want a crack at adding to your collection, here’s your chance. Just leave a comment on this post, and I’ll draw for a winner on Tuesday morning, at which time the magazine sale will end.
