The Great Quilt Magazine Sale, Round 1

Posted on November 30, 2012 by prairiemoonquilts in Organizing, Studio News

When the movers showed up at my house a couple weeks ago, I was totally unprepared, and had hardly packed anything at all, so we ended up just chucking everything in boxes and moving it to Nebraska.

Since arriving, my daily task list has included going through all those things and deciding what I want to keep and what I should have done something about before I had to move it.

One of those things is my HUGE stack of quilting magazines. I knew I didn’t need them all before I left, but I had zero time to sit down and go through them to decide which ones I no longer want.

I’ve been sitting in my easy chair for a little bit every evening now, browsing through the huge stack, and saying farewell to some of my treasured magazines. (I’m still keeping more than I probably should, but don’t tell My Cowboy!)

And now, you, my dear readers, can benefit from this little organizing frenzy of mine. They’re wonderful magazines, most in pristine condition, and therefore, too good to just put in the recycle bin. So I’m offering them up here on my blog for purchase . . . in bundles . . . in the following manner:

Each bundle contains 6 magazines, and costs $10 (which includes shipping). The bundles are pictured and described below. I’m starting with 5 bundles for now, and will list more when these are gone (yes, I have that many too many — don’t judge!).

If you see a bundle you wish to purchase, leave a comment on this post specifying which bundle you’re interested in, or click HERE to contact me and let me know. The first person to comment or contact me about a specific bundle, wins that bundle for $10. I would prefer PayPal payments, but if you would prefer to mail me a check, we can work that out as well. I’m not that picky, just trying to keep it simple. I’ll keep the post updated to let you know which ones are already sold, and which are still available.

When I mail your bundle to you upon receipt of payment, I’m also going to throw in a surprise goody. The goodies will be various little quilting notions, such as a pattern, a piece of fabric, a random extra magazine, or any other little quilty thing — it’ll be a surprise just for you, just for purchasing.

So, are you ready? Here are the first 5 bundles I have up for grabs:

  1. I am not even looking, because I bet my stack of magazines rivals yours. And I got rid of so many before this move….
