Yesterday I posted about a quilt that I quilted for Victoria, and today I’m back with another one!

Victoria made a quilt called “Skylark” that made an appearance in the 2013/2014 issue of International Quilt Festival’s Quilt Scene magazine.Skylarkmag

I had the honor of quilting this quilt for Victoria, too.Skylark1

Her famous quote about this quilt that made me laugh: “It’s all about the stripe!” And I’d have to agree — that stripe works perfectly in this quilt. In the magazine, Victoria shows you how to use a template to make this quilt, and it’s waaay easier than it looks.

The quilt hung in the Simplicity booth at Quilt Market, where I was able to snap a photo of it on display.Skylark2

You can get a copy of the magazine HERE. Our friend, Pat Sloan, also has a quilt in this issue, and my pal, Tara Rebman has the cutest lanyard project included. You just need to go get the magazine! And then play with that template and some stripes!
