Pinwheel Baby Quilt

Posted on September 26, 2012 by prairiemoonquilts in My Patterns

I’ve added a new free pattern to the Free Patterns page today.

It’s a Pinwheel Baby Quilt.

My sister made some of the blocks, then for some reason decided she wasn’t going to do anything with them, and gave them to me. I made some more blocks to go with them, and set them together into this baby quilt.

Katie, over at Swim, Bike, Quilt! has been hosting a blog hop for her charity: 100 Quilts For Kids.

Yesterday was the final stop on the tour. I made this little baby quilt for my donation to the cause, and thought you might like to have the pattern for it so that you can do the same sometime. Just visit the Free Patterns page to download the PDF. Enjoy!

You know I love, love, love pinwheels. And I really like the little blue corner posts in the sashing. Nice job! and giving it away, too!

I’ve been wanting to make a 1930’s Pinwheel quilt. Love your pattern. You really need to stop adding to my “to do” list though. I’ll never get caught up!

  3. It’s awfully cute, Shelly! I love pinwheels. They are amongst my faves!
