Look what the mail lady delivered to my door the other day — my own personal copy of Pat Sloan’s new book!
It’s called Teach Me to Applique, and it has some darling and very happy projects in it.
I quilted a few of the projects in the book, and when Pat sent me the tops, I was amazed at how beautifully done the machine applique is.
Well, this book is all about that! It details Pat’s easy method for soft, fusible, machine applique.
Pat gave me permission to steal a few of her photos to show you. So here we go!
I quilted this quilt, called Flower Pop. She let me have my way with the border, and it was really fun to quilt!
I did not quilt this one, but I really really like it. Such a lovely color combination, the peach and aqua. It’s called Meadow Breeze.
And I didn’t quilt this one, either, but I think it’s my favorite in the whole book — Farmer’s Market — isn’t this adorable?
Pat is going to host a sew-along this summer for the Farmer’s Market quilt, so you need to get your hands on a copy of the book so you’ll be ready!
You can see more of the projects and lots more photos from the book HERE.
Looks like an awesome book. Are you going to make the Farmers Market quilt?
Great job on the quilting. Love the borders. Looks like a fun book.
