It’s these cute farm boys from Kansas doing a parody of LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy and I Know It.” It’s hilarious!
Theirs is “I’m Farmin’ and I Grow It” . . . very fitting.
I’ve decided that mine would be “I’m Quiltin’ and I Sew It” . . .
But I’m no videographer. In fact, I’d probably suffer some heinous quilting injury while trying to film myself sewing — parody indeed! — so I’ll just let you use your imaginations as I show you what I’ve been working on lately . . .
Our guild swap block this month is a Christmas block. Just let me say right now that this is going to be one WILD Christmas quilt! Jean passed out kits for us from her stash — what a wild bunch of Christmas fabric!
I finished Barrett’s One Big Cabin quilt. I just need to finish the label and get it attached. I’m intending to put his name on it, if I can stop giggling long enough to write it legibly. My sister and I crack up every time we say it! His name is Barrett Von Souther. Von is an old family name on his daddy’s side. It’s not intended to sound as if he’s some elderly German aristocrat, but we still can’t help but laugh and say it in all its different possible intonations. Go ahead, try it for yourself — too funny! And still and all, I just love it! Barrett Von Souther . . . he’ll grow up to do great things, I’m sure of it.
And I wonder why my studio is a wreck!
I guess it’s all because “I’m Quiltin’ and I Sew It”! Go watch that video. It’s cute . . .
