Hazel’s Summer Wildflowers

Posted on August 9, 2012 by prairiemoonquilts in Quilt-Alongs & Bees, What's New

A new Quilt-Along has just started over on my other blog: The Life of Hazel Ilene.

This latest Quilt-Along quilt features 6 embroidery blocks, set together with pieced blocks to make a throw-sized quilt measuring 61″ x 78″.

If you like embroidery, you’ll love this quilt. Each block comes in two versions, depending on how “fancy” you want to get with your stitching.

In addition to the block patterns, I’m presenting a project that can be made using just that block as an alternative in case you don’t want to make the entire quilt.

By the end of the year, you should have a finished quilt top, and patterns for 6 additional projects. (Or at least access to all the instructions for a completed quilt top and 6 additional projects — ahem!)

I have yet to get some decent shots of the entire quilt, but those are coming soon. For now, here’s a shot of Block 1’s fancy version:

Hop on over to The Life of Hazel Ilene to get in on the Quilt-Along.
