Hands of Friendship Quilt Show

The Hands of Friendship Quilt Guild in Kirksville, Missouri, puts on a fabulous show every year! It’s a lot of work, and this year, we have a new venue with extended hours, and several new activities added to the docket.

If you’re in the area, please come to the William Matthews Middle School at 1515 Cottage Grove Avenue, Kirksville, Missouri, on Friday, June 3rd, or Saturday, June 4th, and have some fun at our show.

Friday’s hours are 2:00-8:00 pm, and Saturday, we’ll be there from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

For your $3 donation, you can get in and look at more than 150 beautiful quilts and vote for your favorites in each category.

There will be 12 vendors present for your shopping pleasure, and I am one of them! I’ll be signing copies of my new book, A Simple Life, throughout the show, so come see me and get your autographed copy!

We’re having hourly Vendor Spotlights so you can learn more about all of our vendors, and you can even participate in a vendor Shop Hop during the show! (You could win prizes!)

We’ll have a display of our Community Service work; demonstrations of hand- and machine-sewing and quilting techniques; you can sit and sew on veteran’s quilts while you’re there; and watch one of our very popular Bed-Turnings!

And . . . you can purchase chances to win our gorgeous raffle quilt, shown here:

If you’re anywhere near Kirksville, it’s well worth the trip to come visit our show. There’s a lot of fun stuff to do and see! And come say hi to me!

See you at the Quilt Show!!

I didn’t realize you were in Missouri. Wish I could come to the show but I’ll be out of town. I’m just across the river in Illinois.
