Perfect timing for a Friday Night Sew-In.
I’m actually at my guild’s retreat, so I got a lot of sewing done. And I’ll hopefully be getting lots more done before it ends.
But my Friday night was really productive!
My sew-in got to start around 1:30 pm this time — lucky me, huh?
I spent all day Thursday cutting out and organizing several projects to bring along and work on. Fueled by Mountain Dew and all sorts of sinful sugary snacks, I was a veritable stitching whirlwind!
I set in first thing to finish this quilt top. All the blocks were already made, so it didn’t take me long. I’ll tell you more about the quilt later.
Then I set to work on my guild’s challenge for this year. It has to be done by next guild meeting, so I figured I’d best get at it. I made lots of HSTs using Thangles.
Which wore me out, and I had to go to bed. I cashed it in around midnight. And I get to sew the rest of the weekend yet. I’ll show you some more of what I get done after the retreat is over.
I’m off to do some more sewing . . .
I hope you’re all having a quilty weekend, too!
Look at you being all thoughtful and thinking of us while you are away on retreat! I don’t know though. Are you being sweet, and thoughtful or are you just trying to rub in the fact that you are there and we are NOT! 🙂 You’re nine patch quilt is great set on point! Looking forward to the story!
You had a very productive FNSI! All those HST…I would be tired too!
For the record, I love that 9-patch quilt top you’ve made, too. So bright and cheery!
