My friend, Cindy, came to visit me again at the end of July.
Once again, she arrived bearing gifts.
Last time, she brought me some red squares for my Checkerboard quilt, and a scissors fob.
This time, she brought more red squares, and . . .
. . . a Coffee Can Organizer that she made for me — I love it!
I’m all about organization tools, even though none of them ever seem to really help me.
But I’m using this one, so we’ll see . . .
She used a pattern by Lynn Knox called “Pocket Cannister”.
It has TONS of pockets. Lots of places to stash tools for easy access.
It’s fit over a plastic coffee canister, so it’s nice and sturdy.
I put in mine the things I use at my longarm. I previously had them all just tossed willy-nilly into a ceramic bowl. So the bowl was pretty, but it was all just jumbled in there, and I had a hard time grabbing the one thing I needed each time.
Now it’s all in one place, separated with the pockets, and easy to grab. I even added other things I need over there, but kept stored somewhere else. This should save me time in the future, right?
I even still have some leftover pockets, so I can add more things if I need to.
If you think you need one of these for yourself, and I’m sure you do, just click HERE to find the pattern. Or find yourself a Cindy who will make one for you! Thanks, Cindy, for making one for me!
Glad you like it and found a use for it.
If I had something like this, maybe I could find my scissors and marking pen all the time, they always get misplaced. So nice of your friend Cindy to make it for you, thanks for sharing!
What a cute organizer! I like that. I have all my stuff in a big organizer bag. I love it. When I go somewhere to sew, I just grab it and go. I have all my tools with me in one place.
