Barrett Von

He’s here!

Barrett Von made his appearance at 8:05 this morning, weighing in at 7 pounds, 2.1 ounces, and measuring 19 inches long. He looks so much like his older brother, Max, that his mother exclaimed upon seeing him: “Doc! I had twins two years apart!”

Max got to check him out through the nursery window.

When asked if he wanted to take that baby home with him, he just kept shaking his head NO.

It didn’t take him too long to get enough of that whole deal, and he picked up his toys and was ready to go home!

I think it’s gonna take a bit of adjustment for Max to realize that he has to share his mommy. But I’m pretty sure it’ll all work out in the end, and they’ll be good buds in no time.

Congratulations!!!! He’s a cutie, for sure! Big bro will eventually come around…most of us survived having younger siblings!!!

What a cutie! I can’t believe how big Max is now.

  3. Oh, he’s so cute! Congratulations! I remember my mom telling me, when they brought home my sister, that they should just take her back to the hospital where they got her. All she did was pee, poop, eat, and cry. She had a hole in her heart, so they had to take her back for some tests and stuff. I apparently cried and told my mom I really didn’t mean it! Haha.

I was eight when my youngest brother was born and I was never so delighted with any child until the births of my own. Of course, I wasn’t as delighted with the brother and sister that I already had who were much closer in age to me..so close that I don’t really remember their arrivals. Max won’t remember when Barrett arrived later. He’ll just know that he has a playmate who can be outwitted for quite a long time.

  7. Congratulations to the happy family. We’re on baby watch here – anxious to see what Audrey will think of her baby brother.
