My book is finally on its way!

In other news, I went to the AQS Show in Paducah, KY, last week with my sister. Fabulous show, as always. And everywhere I go, I spy Victoria, even if she’s not there in person. Her thread collections with Aurifil were in their booth at the show. If you didn’t make it to the show, you can buy her thread collections directly from her HERE.
My sister is a HUGE Elvis Presley fan, so while we were down that far we detoured to Memphis and toured Graceland again. We also made a side trip from there, and went to Tupelo, MS, to visit Elvis’s birthplace.
This trip also included my first visit to Beale Street in Memphis.
If you’re ever there, I highly recommend eating at the Blues City Cafe — you MUST try one of their apple dumplings. It’s a meal by itself!
We got home late Saturday night, and my friend, Sarah, came down to help me all day Sunday, and we made some progress on my utility room remodel. I need her to come down every weekend!
Even though I took my computer along on the trip, I either couldn’t get the internet to work reliably, or had no time to even look at the computer, so I missed posting a Creativity Challenge last week. I hope you’re using this week to catch up or do your own thing, and I’ll be back Thursday with a new challenge.
This week, I’m getting ready for the Arrow Rock Quilt Camp, and soon I’ll show you the new project for one of the classes I’m teaching there.
Today it’s crazy scary stormy, so I’m afraid to plug anything in — that means it’s a cutting and prep day!
What are you doing this week?
Hallelujah!! I love it. I’ll be buying my copies at the quilt show book signing. Let me know of other book signing opportunities, too.
Congrats! I just saw your book. Will you be selling? Unfortunately I can’t make it to show for your book signing. Unless you are flying to Hawaii! LOL
I would love to purchase and have you autograph? (=
Please let me know!
Congrats!
Congratulations on your book. I will have to order myself a copy. Looks very interesting. The plan for this week is to binding 2 quilts and finish an art quilt for next week deadline.
Congrats on the book. We were talking about you while finishing the Maine shop Hop. I have my Friend Fran following your challenge to organize. 6 days on the road for the hop, 2 days at retreat and there wasn’t much left of April to relax in. It snowing heavily in the Southern part of Maine yesterday…sigh… Today I am on the road again. I WANT to stay home and quilt.. or clean…or both…
I appreciate Sarah coming and helping you with your utility room!! Way to go, Sarah.
