Under the Big Top!

Today begins the 30th annual Hands of Friendship Quilt Show in Kirksville, Missouri.

If you are anywhere near the area, I urge you to come see our show — it’s always worth the trip!

This year, our theme is “Under the Big Top!”, a circus theme, so come on out and join in the fun. It’s held at the Kirksville YMCA, 1708 Jamison Street. Our hours today are from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, and all day tomorrow, Saturday, May 30th, we’ll be there from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

We’ll have over 100 quilts on display, in addition to so many other things going on:

*Vendors
*Bedturning
*Demonstrations
*Special exhibits
*And the most gorgeous raffle quilt — you have to see it up close. It’s so wonderful, I can’t even describe it, and this picture simply doesn’t do it justice. And it could be yours, if you show up and purchase a ticket for a chance to win it!

Members Alice and Kay went on TV to talk about the show. You can see and hear what they had to say HERE.

Honestly, our show never disappoints, so if you are in the area, and have some time, please stop by and see us. We ask a $2 donation at the door, and in return, we offer plenty of eye candy — see you there!
