A New Call For Quilts

My friend, Victoria, has just found a new project that needs our help.

bbbasicsgatherBumbleBeansBASICS has put out a call for 100 baby quilts, and 100 twin-sized quilts, to comfort babies in need, and those who take care of them.

Please go HERE to watch Victoria’s video about how to send in your quilt. Her BASICS website is all updated and new, and now there is a form you need to fill out when sending in your quilt to help them keep things more organized and to make sure that those who donate are properly acknowledged and thanked.

I hope you can find it in your heart to donate to this worthy cause. Baby quilts are not large and do not take much time. If you have a UFO you’re trying to finish, consider making it a twin-sized quilt and donating it.

Victoria has provided links to some free pattern tutorials on the BASICS web site HERE — just click on Ideas and Tutorials; and, as always, you can visit my Free Patterns page for several more quick and easy patterns that can work for this cause. You need to use up some scraps anyway, don’t you?

For more information and to find the form to use when you donate your quilt, just click HERE.

And thank you so much for helping out!
